Can’t record 720p video: Amazon details incorrect.
A lot of Casio’s EX series of camera’s can record video at 1280×720x24 fps (720p) but the EX-S5 cannot. The max resolution for the S5 is 848×480x30fps.

I purchased this camera for my daughter. She loves the color - I love the great photos that it takes. It is small enough to fit in her pocket.

I bought this camera a week ago and love it. The images are sharp, the video is fantastic and the interface is super simple. It is also very slim and fits easily in your pocket. The downside came after the weekend, I purchased the unit. I used at a birthday party for children and my wife wanted to use it while I'm out for a while. When I came back, she said that the camera was broken. Apparently, for any reason, when she tried to power the camera on the broader objective, then there was a buzzing sound and the camera turned off and then showed an "error of objective "message on the LCD screen. I took the camera to where I bought and exchanged for a second camera. I hope it was a FLOOK, but there are a lot of information on the web on this problem with other Casio models. I intend to enjoy this beautiful camera and keep my fingers crossed that I had missed the first round. If it breaks again during my 90 window to return to the store, I get a refund and to consider a Canon or Nikon.

I just bought my Casio Exilim camera 2nd. The 6MP that I lost, did nice job, I thought I could not go wrong with 10MP. I was not disappointed. This device does all the less competition. Installation is easy and the photos are beautiful and clean. The size is perfect and the style is attractive. The power button is sensitive for large hands and fingers. Overall this is a very good camera and I recommend to my friends.
