When looking for a camera for my 3-yr-old, I could not find any entries that answered the questions that I had.

Durable - yes, camera - no
This camera is very durable, but the pictures are so bad who cares. My daughter desperately tries to make use of it, but gets depressed every time she sees what kind of pictures…

Durability: 4. 0 out of 5 stars Fun: 5. 0 out of 5 stars Educational: 3. 0 out of 5 stars First, I'll admit that my 4yo daughter loves this camera. The smile on her face as she took photos is worth the price for me. But seriously, this device is a piece of scrap. The image quality is so bad. I do not understand. It's like Fisher Price figured "hey, it's for children, so why do decent." Shame on them and shame on all those who will view it with comments like "what do you want a camera for children."
I have no unrealistic expectations and do not like children waiting for a camera to take photographs of the same quality as my Nikon D200. I expect less when I pay less. But is not that cheap. Almost 1 / 2 the price you can get a 5MP Kodak with zoom and takes many, many,. . . many more photos. So where is the extra cost coming from? Do not tell me the durable body. Really people, this is a digital camera $ 10 $ 90 in plastic and rubber.

Durability: 5. 0 out of 5 stars Fun: 5. 0 out of 5 stars Educational: 2. 0 out of 5 stars My five years, likes to take pictures with our "adult" camera and, surprisingly, sometimes the pictures come out very well. As a result, her grandmother bought her this camera because it seemed it would be easier to use and more durable. You could probably drop this thing from the space shuttle and survive the impact, but it produced horrific images such as it's not worth saving one of the photos taken with him.
Of course, kids love this device because they know no better and there is certainly a lot of fun to play with, but honestly, it is one of the most disappointing toy I've ever seen. I would hate to reward Fisher Price to produce something which, while fun, is a piece of scrap otherwise.

Great for preschool age
This is a great first camera for preschool age girls. My daughter loved taking pictures with this and found it very easy to use.

My 4 year old loves this camera
This camera is amazing. My 4 year old daughter loves it. She had dropped it many times since she has it but it is tough enough to handle it.

Fun & Tough
My daughter got this last year for Christmas when she was 4. It is very easy for her to use. No it does not take gallery quality photos.

Durability: 5. 0 out of 5 stars Fun: 5. 0 out of 5 stars Educational: 4. 0 out of 5 stars My daughter received this camera for his fifth birthday, and loves it. At his party, all other children were crying out for use. It's colorful, easy to hold, and make fun sounds with each function. The resolution of photos is low, but most of these photos are not keepers anyway (especially from me to the computer in my pajamas). It is very sturdy and easy to use and understand. According to my research, which appears to be the best "children" camera currently on the market.

Pictures much better than they look on the camera…
My daughter loves her Kid Tough camera. So does my son, who was jealous from the minute she got it for Christmas… despite the pink color.

What a waste
This camera is a great idea. My daughter has fun with it but the picture quality is so terrible that I don’t understand the point.
