I just ordered this unit and it has today. I was a little nervous to order a camera that was just released and had no comment, but the Fujifilm FinePix Z20 has such good reviews, I decided to take a chance on the newer model.
So far, everything is perfect. The battery was very quick and simple installation. This device is so easy to use, what is important to me, since I'm kind of technology. With most cameras, I find it difficult to navigate the menu, but this device is very simple to work. Also, the screen on the back is great, to see the pictures easily. There is a great feature of the camera that I really like. There is a parameter that when activated, will still have two images each time you snap a picture. The one with flash and one without, and store both to see you. This way you will never have to worry about your images are too dark or too bright. The images are clear, and I am very happy I bought this camera.
I can not comment on the software, as I have not used yet, but everything else was fantastic.

This camera is perfect, exactly what I wanted. It seems even better in person! I used on the city, indoors with fluorescent lighting, and outside, and it is 10. 1 Megapixel AWESOME. You can read all the above (it is red eye, video, etc.).. but here are the points I did not know when I ordered the unit from Amazon, but was proved wrong:
1) The camera looks cheap, not cheap. I was concerned about the lack of stones and research women's cheap, but they are very small and does not look at the camera "girly".
2) The sliding door is an excellent idea because it protects the lens, and makes the device ready to use once you open it! Normally, the cameras take 10 seconds to ready to fire (power.. Ok, the setting, click, hold, wait ..) Not this camera! You open the door, click the button, and view the image in 3 seconds. It's so nice! Moreover, it is ready to go after taking a picture much faster.
3) The sliding door has a nice "click" do not worry you open your bag / pocket. . . really. It's fine.
4) I like the buttons on the back of the camera - they are bigger than other cameras, easy to read and the press seems more modern, etc.
So. . . BUY this camera! You'll love it!

Got this the other day. Love is the small and takes good pictures. Only wrong is the break between the photos. But we can address this issue.

The perfect camera for kids and beginners
